THE STREAMS ARE A SPECIAL HIGH RES VERSION::::::: 96K - 24bit. Lay on the floor in headphones. The vinyl is also hi res. These songs were by Melissa Dyne & Khaela Maricich in their NYC apartment as well as in a scattered series of condominiums along the eastern seaboard, using their portable synth and audio processing rig. Everything felt like the end of the world as we were making this album but here we all are still living.

All songs written, composed and produced by Melissa Dyne and Khaela Maricich. Engineered and mixed by Melissa Dyne. Lyrics by Khaela Maricich. Mastered by Joe LaPorta at Sterling Sound. Dyne performed with modular synth, routing & signal flow processing, delays, pedals and ribbon controllers. Maricich played keyboard, modular synth, drum pad and sang vocals. Brand New Abyss was made between between January 2014 and June 2017 in a string of locations around the United States: our Downtown Brooklyn apartment NYC, Los Cerrillos NM, The Merritts’ The Ridges El Dorado NM, Deidre Backs’ cottage Los Angeles CA, Village Green Stowe VT, Sky Valley GA, Sandcastle Village New Bern NC, Mountain Sun Quarters Waterville Valley NH, Southcape Resort & Club Mashpee MA.
